Deo Tibba is a beautiful 6001m high peak in the Pir Panjal range of the Himalaya in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. The Hindu religion believes that Deo Tibba is the assembly site of the gods. the Devtas are believed to sit on this peak, while the Lord of War & Weather-Indra, carries out a meeting from his throne-Indrasan. Indra is the controller of weather & also the Lord of the Devtas. deo tibba expedition is very famous in youth climber.
Day 1 – Manali to Jagatsukh to Chikha (3200m).
We are starting after breakfast. We are going via Jeep Manali to Jagatsukh end of power Project 12000. Trail ascends gradually through thick pine forests along the narrow Allain Nullah valley. Lookout for plenty of wildlife along the way.. We are starting our trek from 12000 to Chikha it will take 2 hour. Today our stay in camp.
Day 2 – Chikha to Seri (3600m).
Today we have to walk 5-6 hours Today’s trail is again all uphill but mostly through birch forests. The campsite at Chikha is almost at tree line giving you some fabulous views. The first part of the trail winds through birch forests before opening on to the huge meadow at Seri. The camp at the opposite end of the meadow is about an hour’s walk away. You can see flat ground there. Overstay in camp.
Day 3 Seri – Chota Chandertal (4200m).
Today we have to walk 4-5 hour.The initial part of the trek is all flat and easy walking till you comes to a stream. After crossing the stream the trails is uphill through boulders till you come to the camp which is on a moraine. The path is all through moraine with some uphill stretches. The closed valley doesn’t offer views of the valley but Deo Tibba stays with you all along. Chota Chandertal a beautiful small mountain lake in a depression. Return to the camp down side of the lake. Overnight stay in camp.
Day 4 – Base camp to camp 1.
After breakfast move to camp 1 it’s around 4-5 hour walk up hill. Our base camp it will there same place. Today stay in camp one.
Day 5 – Acclimatization at Camp 1.
Today we are staying in camp one. Because our team they are going for to fix the rope on galley. Stay in camp 1.
Day 6 – Camp 1 to Summit attempt to Camp 1.
We are starting early morning 4:00 am and we are going through the piton ridge and galley. When we fnised the galley we will reach camp 1 for Indrason Peak.. From there it will take 2-3 hour more to summit. When you reached on top you can see great view from there beautiful mountains, Lake, beautyful valleys Lahual and spiti and Indrason Peak. These two peaks Deo Tibba ad indrason both are related with story of God. After spend 15 minutes on top we will start descending to camp 1. Overnight stay in camp 1.
Day 7 – Camp 1 to Base camp chota chandertal.
Day 8 – Base camp chota chandertal to manali.
Today we have to walk 6-7 hour to reach manali.
Day 9 – reserved day.
